Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan
If you are referred by your GP/Psychiatrist/Paediatrician via the Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan prior to the initial session, you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $84.80 per session.
This initial referral will allow access to six rebated sessions. A further four sessions can be obtained, with a maximum of 10 sessions in each calendar year.
Reduced fees may apply for concession and health care cardholders at Stephanie’s discretion.
Assessment packages are competitive and based on the standard sessional rate. Autism and Developmental Assessments often require four to six sessions in order to enable sufficient collection of information and optimal assessment of your child.
If your child is referred for an Autism or Developmental assessment by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate of $84.80 with a maximum of 4 rebatable assessment sessions in a lifetime.

DSS/ FaHCSIA funding
Stephanie is a registered provider under the Helping Children with Autism and Better Start initiative (DSS/ FaHCSIA funding, now funded by the Department of Social Services) allowing eligible families to utilise allocated funding to access early intervention services.

Private Health Cover
Private Health insurance often includes rebates for psychological services depending on your level of cover. Please contact your provider to find out more.
If you are unable to attend, please provide as much notice as possible so that appointments may be allocated to others waiting. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required. Less than 24 hours notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
